For the most part the exercise bikes are maintenance-free; however, some maintenance should be part of your routine.
Mechanical
- Dismantle, clean, and inspect entire bicycle, especially working parts (chains, friction, fit cones, bearings, freewheels, etc.)
- Replace worn, damaged or defective parts as necessary.
- Lubricate, adjust, reassemble and calibrate the machine every 3-4 months.
- Tighten all nuts and bolts.
- Functionally test the bicycle.
